GEOFF STENSLAND, President

Geoff Stensland is the Principle Engineer and founder of ChemE Solutions. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1981 and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Washington in1995.

He has a passion for helping to develop badminton at a local and national level. He has been the President and Principal of the Bellevue Badminton Club since 1995 and is the President of Badminton America, LLC. Geoff is currently serving on the Board of Directors on the United States Badminton Association (USAB).

KENNY LU, Vice President

Kenny Lu was born and raised in Taiwan, lived in South Africa, and moved to the United States to attend the University of Washington. He was the first to develop a Junior Program in Washington State, which began in 2001. With the help of Boris Poon, he was able to start the first adult coaching program in 2002. He has hosted many summer camps in Seattle and Bellevue. He then expanded his passion for juniors in Spokane where he supported Eric Lee's Shuttlefreaks Badminton Club, Spokane junior badminton, and coached several summer camps in Spokane. He directed the first Washington State Junior Open in 2002. In 2005, he helped found Bellevue Badminton Club where his junior program also joined the new venture.  He is also currently serving as the secretary for Washington State Badminton Association in promoting badminton to the community.

DR. SING LAM, Vice President

Dr. Sing Lam played an important role in BBC's expansion to Bellevue Badminton Center (Gym #2). His family has been a strong supporter of BBC and the community from the very beginning. Dr. Sing Lam serves on BBC'S Board of Advisors. He is a parent of our junior program, and an active badminton player in the community.
