Born in the badminton-rich country of China, Huaiwen started her professional career at age eight.  Huaiwen has been a two-time women's singles bronze medalist at the BWF World Championships in 2005 & 2006 and has won more than 20 national and international singles titles.  "Badminton is part of my life and career.  I want to compete, win and prove myself.  Other people can give me up, but I cannot give myself up."  So she kept her words and she made it.

  • 5 years Coach/Player/ of Bischmisheim Badminton Club

  • Participated 2 times Olympian (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008)
  • Won 5th place at Beijing Olympic Games 2008
  • 2-Time Bronze Medalist at (2005 & 2006) World Championships
  • 2-Time European Champions (2006 & 2008)
  • 2-Time Bronze Medalist with Team Germany at Uber cup 2006, 2008
  • 5-Time German National Singles Champion
  • 5-Time German Bundesliga National Champion (with B.C Bischmisheim Badminton Club)
  • Won over 20 International Tournaments (2006 Swiss Open, 2005 Greece Open, 5 - Time Bitburger Open, Dutch Open, Belgian Open, etc.)
  • 2007 Kopenhagen Masters Singles Champion 2
  • 3-Time Bronze Medalist at Chinese National Championships
  • Former Chinese National Team Member

Honors:

  • Awarded the Best Female Athlete of State Saarland, Germany 2006
  • Awarded the Silbernes Lorberrblatt (the Highest Sports Reward of Germany)
