A new member shall be referred to as the New Member that has never been a member of the Bellevue Badminton Club (the “Club).

The Referring Member shall be a current member who referred the New Member.

For every Member who signs up as a New Member at Bellevue Badminton Club, the Referring Member gets one (1) Referral Reward.

The Referral Reward is one free month of membership.  The one (1) month free membership will be equivalent to the New Member's monthly fee AND up to the Referring Member's current monthly membership fee.

Example 1: John Doe has a junior membership and refers Sam Johnson who signs up for a family membership.  John Doe gets one month of a JUNIOR membership fee for free, and NOT a family membership monthly fee free.

Example 2: Sam Johnson has a family membership and refers her friend, Sue Simpson who signs up for an adult membership.  Sam Johnson gets one month of an ADULT membership fee for free, and NOT a family membership monthly fee free.

Referral Reward(s) will be given on the fourth (4th) month from the date the New Member signed up.

Referral Rewards are only given in the form of a free month of membership, and cannot be redeemed for cash.  Both the Referring Member and New Member must be in good standing for the Referring Member to receive Referral Reward(s).  The New Member must be a member in good standing (all dues must have been paid in full at the time of billing with no credit card declines) for at least three (3) months in order for the Referring Member to get the Referral Reward(s).

Referrals are not retroactive. The name written on the line that reads "Referring Member's Full Name" upon registration for membership will be the member that will be given the Referral Award.

Note:  Our system will still charge you for the fourth month as usual, but we will refund you the Referral Reward amount.  You will not get a receipt that reflects this refund; however, this refund will be stated on your credit card statement.
