- A person must be an active Bellevue Badminton Club member.
- Minimum age for league is 16 years old.
- However, adult members will have priority over junior members.
- Once the league schedule and draws have been posted, no changes can be made. Exceptions are last minute cancellations.
- Last minute cancellations must be made before 12:00 noon on Tuesday/Wednesday via email at

- If you show up more than five (5) minutes after the start time, you will be considered a default and your position will be replaced by the next highest ranked person.
- If a participant cancels before 12 noon, the next highest ranked person will move up into that slot.
- Everyone playing League is required to bring at least one (1) birdie. League players must also provide a 2nd birdie for their group if needed.
- League Qualified Birdies are Yonex AS 30, 40, 50, Wilson 80, 100, Victor Green Champion Tournament Grade.
- The top 35 ranked registered players will play in the 8:30 pm session. The rest of the field will play in the 7:15 pm session. The 8:30 pm session will use the 7-players round robin format, meaning each player will play five (5) doubles games with 5 different partners. The 7:15 pm session will use the 6-player round robin format, meaning each player will play four (4) doubles games with four (4) different partners.
- All courts will be used for League competition on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
- The highest level court will be court #1, Group A, in the 8:30 pm session. Each groups' scores will be weighted a certain percentage lower than the next lowest group. The percentage is the same for all groups. Example: Group B's scores will be weighted X percentage lower than Group A's, and Group C's scores will be weighted X percentage lower than Group B's.
- Each player gets one (1) bonus point for participation in the league. You may receive up to a maximum of four (4) points. Therefore, only the last four (4) weeks of scores are used for ranking each player. This creates a moving average so that each member can improve on their scores as they play.
- Each new participant of the League will be assigned a score and that participant's level of play will be evaluated in order to make sure the participant is in the correct group. The new participant's score may be adjusted according to the results of the evaluation for the next League session.
