Adult Class Registration and Cancellation Policy

Bellevue Badminton Club’s adult classes provide coached instruction and practice for players at the level identified in each class description. Review the level, location, dates, fees, and registration requirements before enrolling.

This policy applies to adult classes. For junior programs, please review BBC’s Junior Program Policies and Safety Guidelines.

Registration and Payment

Register and pay through CourtReserve using a valid payment method on file. Registration is subject to class capacity, eligibility, and any placement requirements shown for the class. Current schedules and prices are available through CourtReserve and BellevueBadminton.com.

Full-session registration reserves the scheduled series of classes. Partial-session or drop-in registration is available only where offered and space permits; it does not guarantee availability for other dates. Review the full-session price, applicable drop-in surcharge, and any nonmember fees before paying.

Some classes, clinics, or special programs may carry unique registration, transfer, or cancellation restrictions. Any different terms will be disclosed before registration or payment and govern the corresponding purchase, subject to applicable law.

Canceling a Full-Session Registration

A full-session registration is a commitment to the complete series. Individual classes within that registration cannot be canceled separately for an ordinary absence. Missed classes are forfeited, except for the medical-credit exception below.

A student may request cancellation of all remaining classes in the session. The standard options are:

  • Account credit: 80% of the remaining classes’ value.
  • Refund to the original payment method: 50% of the remaining classes’ value.

Classes already attended will be repriced as drop-ins. The applicable drop-in surcharge for those classes will be deducted from the credit or refund. This adjustment removes the full-session pricing benefit from the classes already used.

Canceling Partial-Session or Drop-In Registration

Eligible cancellations of partial-session or drop-in registrations receive either 80% account credit or a 50% refund to the original payment method for the canceled classes.

The court-reservation and organized-play 24-hour cancellation schedule does not apply to adult classes covered by this policy.

Illness or Injury

When a student cannot attend because of illness or injury and provides a doctor’s note, the affected missed classes receive 100% credit to the student’s CourtReserve account balance.

This medical exception provides account credit only. No refund to the original payment method is available under this exception. It replaces the standard cancellation calculation for the affected classes.

Requesting a Cancellation

Submit cancellation requests in writing to training@bellevuebadminton.com. Include the student’s name, class location, dates to be canceled, and whether account credit or an original-payment refund is requested. Include the doctor’s note when requesting medical credit.

Students must contact BBC to process class cancellations; an absence does not cancel enrollment or request a credit. Retain BBC’s confirmation and contact the training team about any discrepancy.

Missed Classes and Transfers

Make-up classes are not offered for recreational adult classes. Missing a class does not create a replacement lesson or permission to attend another class. The documented illness-or-injury credit exception remains available as described above.

Full-session students may request one transfer per session to an available class at the same level on a different day or time. The transfer must cover all remaining classes, requires BBC approval, and is subject to space and availability.

Class Participation

Attend only the class and dates for which registration has been confirmed. Follow the coach’s drill assignments and instructions for the scheduled class. BBC’s Court Shoe Policy and general facility rules apply.

Class registration does not provide additional court time before or after the lesson. Any separate court use requires an eligible booking or other express authorization.

Questions about adult-class registration, placement, cancellations, or transfers may be sent to training@bellevuebadminton.com. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
